Sales Associate
This isn't any regular retail role. You'll make a meaningful difference in people's lives and feel a great sense of fulfillment. Our sales staff love people and guide customers to the products that will make their lives better. Whether it's families looking to get bikes for riding around town, or helping enthusiast riders get their dream bike - you'll treat everyone with the same attention and respect. You're eager to hear and understand people's stories and unique needs, and based on that you'll make thoughtful recommendations and provide sound advice. You'll offer the highest level of hospitality you can, making customers feel welcome and valued. Knowledge of bikes and the industry is great, but character is the most importance trait in a candidate.
What you'll bring:
- A desire to serve others and offer great service: a warm and welcoming personality, attentive listening skills, relationship building skills.
- Superb interpersonal skills, including the ability to quickly build rapport with customers.
- Able to work in a fast paced environment.
- Prior sales experiencing is an asset.
- Knowledge of Ascend POS system is an asset.
Production Bicycle Mechanic
The service team is the foundation of the business. As a Production Bicycle Mechanic you’ll be reporting to the Service Manager. You’ll be responsible for servicing and repairing bikes all of types. The ability to problem solve and consistent quality of work will be important. You're able to work independently and can also coordinate with your fellow team members. Mechanics of all skill levels are welcome to apply. Training will be available if you need to work on certain skillsets.
What you'll bring:
- Highly competent in bike repair, diagnosis, and maintenance. Experience as mechanic with prior professional experience.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Extensive knowledge of bike technology, accessories, and parts.
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work in a team environment.
- Able to work in a fast paced environment.
- Knowledge of Ascend POS system is an asset.
Bicycle Assembler
Assemblers build, tune, and inspect nearly all new bikes that get delivered to our stores. You'll ensure all our bikes work great and are safe to ride. Being able to manage your time and stick to your schedule is key to your role.
What you'll bring:
- Strong mechanical aptitude.
- Prior experience working on bikes.
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work in a team environment.
- Be highly organized and have a strong work ethic.
