If you like climbing and are looking to challenge your legs this is a ride you will love. The route has both long and steady climbs as well as short and sweet ones to get the legs going. Among all the hills, there are long flat sections that will allow your legs to recover both before and after you reach Belfountain. In some parts, you may feel like you're not even in Ontario and that is the beauty of it. Some of the best riding is local and in our own backyard. You will also pass by our sister shop, Caledon Hills Cycling! The guys out there are fantastic and if you need anything along the way, they will be happy to help you out. The ride starts in the Village of Kleinburg and makes its way through Caledon and over to Belfountain. As you enter into the town of Belfountain you will be just shy of the halfway point and at Higher Grounds Cafe. A lot of cyclists will stop here to take a short break and fill up their water. Afterwards, you will continue to the Village of Caledon and over to Bolton and then back into Kleinburg. There are many challenging hills in the area of Belfountain so feel free to change it up if you’re looking for more.
