To prevent poor shifting and uneven drivetrain wear, most manufacturers recommend chain replacement at or before 1% stretch. Many chains use a master link that allows the chain to be installed and removed by hand. While master links don't require traditional chain tools, over time, dirt and corrosion can make it difficult to separate them by hand. Park's Master Link Pliers make removing and installing these master links quick and easy. Simply insert the specially sized jaws into the link and squeeze the vinyl-coated handles!

Park's Valve Core Tool is great for tightening, removing and installing Schrader and Presta valve cores (the cores are inside the valve), and also Presta valve extenders that have 5mm wrench flats. Park Tool's professional-quality Snap Ring Pliers are made from forged, heat-treated cro-moly steel with a return spring and vinyl-dipped grips. The RP-3 has 1.3mm tips on bent nose blades for medium, external snap rings.

The HCW-16.3 is a combination 15mm pedal wrench and chain whip. Use for both pedal removal/installation and for cassette removal. Chain whip features improved compatibility with 5-speed to 12-speed mountain and road bike cassettes and freewheels. The HCW-16.3 is 10.75" long (27.3cm).

Park's Double-Ended Cone Wrenches are designed for home mechanics. They're made of thin tool steel to fit the low-clearance adjusting nuts and cone flats on a variety of bearing assemblies. Park Tool's Fork Threading Set is designed for cutting new threads and for chasing existing threads on fork columns that are not chromed. The FTS-1's expandable cutting dies are made from the highest quality high-speed steel for precision cutting and long life. The unique thread guide system used with the FTS-1 is specially designed to allow the metal chips and shavings that result during use to fall completely through the guide, preventing damage to the fork threads and the tool. The 791 Reamer Set reamer is used on the PF30 frame shells. The reamer is sized at 45.94mm. The 791 Reamer Set must used with the HTR-1 Head Tube Reamer and Facer, a 750.2 Centering Cone and the 690-XL Facer. The 791 set also includes a pilot that allows a facing-only option of the PF30 frame shell.
