A local ride to Evolution Cycles, Oak Ridges Corridor is a perfect ride for anytime of the year. Lake Wilcox is the best place to start as it provides parking on site and is also a nice place to relax after your ride. The trail is nestled between multiple neighbourhoods in the Oak Ridges Moraine while still providing a quiet, calm and scenic experience. During your ride you will pass by the glacial kettle lake, Bond Lake, which was a real money maker in the early 1900s. Advertised for the health benefits and clean water that Lake Ontario lacked, the Metropolitan Railway had about 60,000 people through the park in 1901. If riders would like to continue their journey they are able to go along the gravel cut trail through Jefferson Forest on the east end, make their way north, up to Bethesda Side Road and then follow west and to be back at Lake Wilcox.
