Details

-

Once used as a sawmill operation in the late 1800s, Mill Pond became a large part of the history in the Town of Richmond Hill. The pond that was once used for power is still the main attraction for many visitors today. It is located just a few blocks away from Evolution Cycles and is one of the more popular recreation areas of the city. This is a very family friendly area with outdoor events happening year round in addition to a playground and gazebo. There is parking and washrooms available on site. As you begin your ride you will go along the pond and into the trailways of the park. Next, you will ride through a few neighbourhoods before reaching Pleasantville Park. Afterwards, you will continue your journey into other smaller parks in the area. Towards the end you will pass by MacKenzie Health Hospital and shortly after be back at Mill Pond. Be sure to enjoy the park after your great ride!
