Beltline Rail Trail

Toronto, ON

-

Details

-

As a former passenger train service that circled the city of Toronto in the 1890s the Beltline Railway is a perfect weekend ride. On a hot summer day it is a very popular favourite for many cyclists in the city looking to get away from the sun and car traffic. As you enter the heart of the city there are numerous places to explore and grab a bite to eat from the many local cafes. The trail spans from Croham Road and Bowie Avenue in York all the way to Evergreen works on the east side of the city. The nice feature of this trail is that there are many access points throughout for riders to enter and exit from.
